I see Fiskars is suggesting you may need a new cut bar. It’s easy to take out and put in. Perhaps it was put in the wrong end at the top. Flip the cut bar end for end and see if the blade fits in the track.

Not What I’d Hoped For
This trimmer cuts really well at first, and doesn’t cause the raised edges that a v-blade trimmer can make. However, as I use a lot of heavy cardstock, I’ve found that the base strip wore down really quickly, and I’ve already had to flip it to the other side after only a few weeks of use. The blade seems to have worn down pretty quickly as well. I didn’t pay a lot for this trimmer, but looks like it’s going to continue costing me more money for replacement parts. Do yourself a favour and spend a bit more on a better rotary trimmer so you don’t have to continually buy replacement parts.

Easy to use
A compact paper cutter for even large sheets of scrapbooking paper. Nice and sharp easy to use. I like the fact that you can pull out the side piece to make the paper more stable.

Nothing exceptional
Not thrilled with this cutter. I actually have an old rotary cutter that I’ve been using with an acrylic ruler instead and that is much faster and more accurate.
