SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 3 yds 45" wide flannel for 2"
- Fifteen 15"x 17"x 1" foam chair pads
- 7 1/2 yds of 6/32" cording
- 9" braid for handle
- Sewing machine
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- 1/2" seam allowance
- Cut four 16"x 18" rectangles.
- Cut two 16" squares.
- Cut enough 1 1/2" bias strips to make 7 1/2 yds cording.
- Join bias strips and make piping.
- Pipe the perimeter of two rectangles.
- On one square, center and stitch handle, folding under cut edge.
- On two 16" squares, pipe two parallel edges. Cut 1/2" cording from top and bottom, leaving the fabric to fold over edge and only stitch 1/2" from top and bottom.
- For sides, seam the remaining rectangles to these pieces so that each seam has piping (form a rectangle).
- Stitch side pieces to top, matching corners, leaving one side open for stuffing. Repeat for bottom.
- Turn right side out.
- Stuff with chair pads.
- Slipstitch opening.
