DIRECTIONS:
- Sew 1/2" seam allowance.

- With right sides together, stitch a 1/2" seam on one long side of 1 flannel and 1 sherpa piece.
- Turn and baste the remaining 3 sides. The folded edge will be the front of the top blanket.
- Fold to back 1/2" on one long side on remaining flannel piece and top stitch. This will be the back of bed. Set aside.
- Layer top blanket flannel side to wrong side of 2nd sherpa piece and stitch 1/2" seam along the back.
- You will now have a piece with sherpa facing you and the blanket section with sherpa side on back.
- Fold the sherpa piece over so the two right sides of sherpa are facing each other. The sherpa piece is longer than the blanket front piece.
- Place the remaining flannel piece with right side up on the table and the hem side toward you.
- Take the section you just constructed and place it with the flannel sides together matching up the front edges.
- Pin the right side of flannel to the right side of the sherpa piece incasing the folded front of blanket.
- Pin sides.
- The back of this should have the folded seam of flannel and the incased seam of sherpa and flannel of blanket.
- Stitch 1/2" seam around the three sides being careful not to sew the front folded blanket section.
- Turn. The finished piece should have the two sherpa sides facing each other and the flannel sections on outside.
- Center the velcro on the inside of the two back openings and stitch in place.
- Insert bed.
