SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1yd fabric for top and bottom strips
  • 1/2yd each of three different fabrics for triangles
  • 1/2yd fabric for binding
  • 1 3/8yd fabric for backing
  • Crib size batting
  • 15"x 16" sheet of paper to make triangle pattern
  • Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
  • Basic sewing supplies
  • Iron and pressing surface
  • Sewing machine

DIRECTIONS:

  1. 35"x 42" Quilt

  2. Read all instructions before cutting and sewing. Use accurate 1/4" seams.

  3. From the 1yd piece cut 2 strips 14 1/2"x WOF.

  4. Subcut (2) - 14 1/2"x 35 1/2" strips.

  5. Make your triangle pattern following triangle template measurements.

  6. Label the three 1/2yd pieces A, B, and C. Cut 2 triangles from each.

  7. Follow Diagram 1 and trim (1) A and (1) C 1/4" from center as shown.

  8. Sew together following diagram. Press.

  9. Follow layout to sew rows together. Press.

  10. Sandwich backing, batting and quilt top. Quilt as desired.

  11. Trim and bind quilt.
