- 5 1/3yds flannel fabric for tent interior
- 1 set clip-on rings (14 count)
- Iron & ironing board
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
NOTE: These instructions are for an 8" tall canopy tent, adjust if needed based on your ceiling height.- Open up and lay out the 5 1/3yd fabric panels.
- Line up all edges with the right sides together and pin the entire perimeter.
- Stitch around the edge using a 1/2" seam allowance and remember to leave a 8" opening for turning.
- Snip the extra seam allowance fabric at the corners of the tent to help with bulk.
- Turn the tent right side out and press.
- Top stitch around the entire edge. When you get to the opening, make sure to turn in your edges and stitch it closed.
- At the middle mark of your canopy, clip on the rings evenly spaced and hang.
JOANN HACKS:
- To help mark the middle of your canopy, fold your completed tent in half and iron a crease into the flannel. This crease will show you the exact line the clips should sit on.
