DIRECTIONS:

To find the downloadable patterns click on the "GET PATTERNS" tab above.
  1. Begin by cutting 40 inches [102 cm] of thick beading thread (Wildfire .008 recommended). These are large beads that work best with thicker threads.
  2. Thread a beading needle, slide the needle down 4 inches [10/16cm] and fold over. This design is worked on a single strand.
  3. Pick up the first three "core" beads. Core beads are the beads that will run through the center of the bracelet. Core beads consist of a repeat of: One 6/0, One 32/0, One 6/0.
  4. Pick up the first set of "arm" beads. Arm beads are the beads that will repeat on the sides of the core beads. Arm beads consist of: Three 8/0, One 6/0, Three 8/0.
  5. Go through the three core beads. Pick up another set of arm beads. Go through the core beads again.
  6. *Pick up one 32/0 bead and a 6/0 bead.
  7. Pick up a set of arm beads. Go through the top 6/0 bead from the first set of core beads and continue through the 32/0 and 6/0above it.
  8. Pick up another set of arm beads. Go through the same core beads again. Repeat from * until you reach the desired length of your bracelet.
  9. To finish the clasp, begin by adding a 6/0 bead, then add three 8/0beads, go through the clasp, then go back through the three 8/0 beads, the 6/0 bead, and the next three core beads.
  10. Loop through the side arms and go through the core beads in the same steps as shown above to reinforce this connection and weave in thread.
