SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Basic Sewing Supplies
- Pattern: McCall's 8013
- Fleece and Faux Fur Fabrics
DIRECTIONS:
- Take measurements for the desired length of the faux fur cuffs.
- Cut the faux fur cuffs on the correct grain.
- Before cutting the plaid, match the print on both sides by pinning through the fabric.
- Cut the rest of the jacket accordingly.
- Right sides together, sew the sleeves into the jacket.
- At the hem of the sleeve, attach the faux fur cuff as normal.
- Construct the garment per pattern instructions.
JOANN HACKS:
- Mark the grain on the wrong side of the fur with arrows. This prevents cutting mistakes.
- Cut fur with a box cutter or sharp edge to prevent massive shedding and breaking the texture.
- To keep your faux fur collar secure, attach buttons to the wrong side of the coat. Create small elastic loops on the fur collar and hook it on the buttons.

JUST STOP!
Hey JoAnns just stop with the project ideas. They are a great idea, but that’s all. The idea! It’s not like we can actually MAKE anything because the instructions are NEVER clear or even added so just STOP!

How do I make this?
I don't understand how this is helpful. It doesn't even give how much fabric to purchase, no pattern, nothing. I mean, it's a cute idea, but at least link to a pattern we can buy.
