Rated 4 out of 5 by from winter is coming! Missing the childs Back piece. Not a big deal, as you can make one from the palm piece. Might be confusing for a new sewer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do you read the reviews There are still no adult patterns added to this project. I keep checking back but there are no adult patterns. I want to make these for the homeless shelter so the sooner you can include the adult ones the better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as bad as most reviews Another review wrote that the size large is an adult size, although, it may fit an adult size hand, it is not adult size. If one looks at the picture, there are 5 mitten sizes, the first 3 are children's sizes. THis being said, I was able to figure the pattern out and make a mitten on my first try and I am an intermediate skilled sewer. Lining the thumb part after sewing it in half while on the first flat mitten piece was a little tricky. I am going to try to figure out a way to more easily add the thumb piece and I will edit my review and share. At this time, I just followed the very plain and generic directions. I have noticed that with JOann patterns a lot is usally missing and/or they are not to scale. Maybe they dont want to. get in trouble with manufacturers by posting free patterns that come with full instrutions? Regardless, I am happy for the free pieces they do post and they have instuctional videos on youtube channel. So there may be more details there. Best of luck!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have not been able to use this product yet but I This is for all the complaints about missing pieces for thumb & only child size pattern given. I thought the same thing at first. 'the Thumb piece is there! Heart shaped top is where you fold it in half to make a full thumb. You line up the curve of the thumb pc. & the palm pc. to attach thumb to hand. Follow directions slowly, one step at a time & you will see how it works. Try it with scarp fabric first to get used to it. THEN cut out the fleece & repeat steps on it. I put my hand over the pattern & the large will fit me if I just add a small seam allowance. I'm 69 yrs old, 5' 2" tall. I believe the pattern was just mislabeled. I think S & M are for children & L is for adults.
