Fleece Pom Pom Trimmed Holiday Stocking

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 1 yd Christmas fleece (for 2 or more)
• 1 yd Lining, fusible fleece
• 1/2 yd Coordinating fleece for cuff
• 1 yd Pompom trim
• Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS: (1/2" seam allowance)

1. Cut 2 each from stocking pattern - Christmas print, fusible fleece and lining.
2. Cut 2 - 7"x 17" from fusable fleece to front and back of stocking.
3. With RST, stitch front and back stocking.
4. Sew piping to front of cuff.
5. With RST, stitch front and back cuff together at pompom edge.
6. Open up cuff and with RST, stitch side seam.
7. Fold WST, and press.
8. Pin cuff to top of stocking, having raw edges even.
9. Cut a 2 1/4"x 8" strip for hanging loop.
10. Fold in half with RST and stitch a scant 1/4" seam along the long edge.
11. Turn and press.
12. Fold loop in half and pin to top of stocking at side seam.
13. With RST, stitch lining together leaving an opening for turning.
14. Place lining over stocking with RST and stitch along top opening.
15. Stitch opening closed.
16. Insert lining into stocking.
17. Topstitch along the top of the stocking.
