DIRECTIONS:
To find the downloadable patterns click on the "GET PATTERNS" tab above.- Cut 120 inches of Good Thread beading thread. Leaving a 60 inch tail, refer to the pattern and ladder stitch 15 stacks of two beads each.
- Brick stitch using stacks of two beads each for each row, referring to the pattern in a decreasing brick stitch up from the ladder row.
- Create a loop of (6) Color A beads at the top of the last brick stitch row. Reinforce this loop.
- Weave in remaining thread.
- Using the long tail thread, build strands of fringe off the bottom of the ladder stitched row. Skip the last bead added then thread back up through the beads and into the ladder row. Turn to exit the next column in the ladder and build the next strand of fringe. Refer to the pattern, which includes a word chart for the fringe.
JOANN HACKS:
- Begin brick stitch by laddering the widest row and then working decreasing brick stitch up from that row. Leave a super long tail at this step that can be used for creating your fringe.
- If you need to add thread, weave into the brick stitch rows above. Test by pulling the thread until the tail stops moving, then trim the tail.

Cutest earrings ever!
These were so much fun to make. I recommend looking up "brickstitch bead earrings" on youtube to help if you've never followed a pattern before. I don't have a ton of experience beading, so these took way more than 5 hours.
I used the thread and brand beads used in the pattern.
The colors I used are:
Aqua AB
Green Pearl
Salmon Pink Rainbow AB
Amethyst S/L

Needs Video
Most "you can do it" projects need videos, especially this one & especially since parts/pieces are meant to be purchased from Joann's.

Fun and Satisfying Project
I have not worked on any bead projects in a few years but still have lots of beads on hand so I decided to try this one. I am very pleased with the result! Next time I will look for more contrast in my color choices but this was a great way to get back in the groove!
