Floral Bowtie and Pocket Meadow

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Assorted Floral Picks
  • Wire Cutters
  • Cardstock or Thin Cardboard Piece
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun/Glue Sticks
  • Felt Piece or Fabric
  • Alligator Clip

DIRECTIONS:

FLORAL BOWTIE:

  1. Trace pattern on cardstock or thin cardboard, use scissors to cut out pattern.
  2. Trace pattern twice on piece of felt or fabric, use scissors to cut out patterns.
  3. Use hot glue to attach each of the felt/fabric pieces on both sides of the cardstock/cardboard.
  4. Use wire cutters to cut floral picks into small pieces.
  5. Use hot glue to attach greenery first, then layer small flowers throughout the bowtie, allowing some of the smaller flowers and greenery to flow over the edges.
  6. Use hot glue to attach an alligator clip to the back of the bowtie.

POCKET MEADOW:

  1. Use scissors to cut out a piece of cardstock or thick cardboard measuring about 3"x4" for the base of the pocket meadow.
  2. Use wire cutters to cut apart floral picks into smaller stems.
  3. Use hot glue to attach stems to the cardstock/cardboard, gluing the stems to the cardstock, allowing the flowers and greenery to flow from the top.
  4. Add greenery on first, then layer flowers on top, making sure to add a variety of textures and sizes of flowers.
  5. Use scissors to cut a piece of felt or fabric measuring about 7"x4". Use hot glue to attach the fabric to the cardstock/cardboard, folding the fabric to cover both sides, making sure all the stems and glue are hidden.
