Floral Cupcakes and Holder

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Preferred cake mix
• Cupcake pans & liners
• Buttercream icing
• Piping bags & decorative tips
• Flower nails
• Parchment paper
• Cupcake Holder
• Cricut®, Cricut Supplies
• Cricut Wild Rose Bundle

DIRECTIONS:

Cupcakes
1. Make cupcakes in desired flavor.
2. After cupcakes are cooled completely, apply a thin layer of buttercream icing to the tops of the cupcakes. This will be the base to which you apply your roses.
3. Use parchment paper and flower nails to pipe buttercream roses. Set roses aside and allow to dry.
4. Remove dried flowers from parchment and add to the tops of the cupcakes.
5. Pipe leaves onto cupcakes to finish the decorations.

Cupcake Holder
1. Add a text box in Design Space for Cricut.
2. Enter 'take the cake!' or your own saying into the text box.
3. Pick the color vinyl you would like to use from the Wild Rose Cricut Bundle.
4. Set your machine up to cut out the saying, following the directions from the design space for Cricut.
5. Once cut, use the transfer paper to transfer the saying on to the top of the cupcake holder lid.
6. Rub on the lid until each letter adheres and remove the transfer paper.

JOANN Hacks:

• Use a very stiff buttercream for the flowers. If it is too soft your flowers will wilt and blend together.
