SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 6 13"x 13"panels of roses
- Glue gun
- 2 tubes of Quick Grip Glue
- Scissors
- 1 26"x 39" piece of insulated foam 1/2" thick covered with foil from a hardware store
- X-acto knife
- Metal straight edge ruler
DIRECTIONS:
- By using the insulated foam for the substrate or back panel, it will remain light in weight even after you glue the floral panels on it. Each floral panel is 13"x 13" square, so if you need to cut the panels to fit in the certain space, you can use scissors or wire cutters. You can also cut the insulated foam using an X-acto knife and a metal straight edge. You want the insulated foam to be the same size as the floral panels so that the insulation doesn’t show.
- On the backside of the floral panels, put glue on every corner and in the middle on one panel. Turn the panel right side up and place in the upper right corner on the insulated foam. Press firmly for a few minutes to set the glue.
- Place each additional square next to the previous one with the glue on the back side of each frame. Press the panels for a few minutes before going to the next one.
JOANN HACKS:
- Place just enough glue to hold the panels in place. You don’t need a ton of glue, but make sure you place it on all of the 4 corners, middle, and randomly around the edges.
