SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

    For Frame:
  • 2 Floral Faux Birch bundles
  • Wire cutter
  • Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
  • For Floral:
  • Baby's Breath garland
  • 16" Lamb's Ear bush
  • 17" white Anemone bush
  • 13" purple Berry bush
  • Tall fuchsia Lavender bush

DIRECTIONS:

    Construct the frame:
  1. Lay out 4 of the the birch branches to desired size and shape. Create a frame-like structure by crisscrossing or interlocking the birch branches.
  2. Hot glue slightly to secure the shape and size.
  3. Add more branches for more layers. Hot glue to secure.
  4. Shape as necessary by bending and separating the birch. Trim edges as necessary so that it stands straight.
  5. Let the glue dry before moving on to the floral.

  6. Construct the Floral:
  7. Cut Baby's Breath garland in half. Lay the garland on top of one corner of the frame and wind it through and around the branches. Hot glue it to the frame.
  8. Separate and cut Lamb's Ear into small clusters. Place on the frame in desired locations. Glue to attach.
  9. Remove the white Anemone flowers from their main stem, leaving approximately 3" of stem attached to the flower. Place these flowers throughout the garland, and close to the Lamb's Ear clusters. Keep the Anemone leaves attached to the stem.
  10. Repeat the same process with the purple berry bush flowers. Cut into clusters and place them in between the white Anemone flowers or in desired locations throughout the Baby's Breath garland. Use all the berries and greens from that bush.
  11. Remove fuchsia lavender from the main bush and add the clusters to the Baby's Breath garland.
  12. Once the floral is in place and desired look is achieved, glue all floral to the birch frame. Fill in with any greenery or floral where needed and hot glue to attach.

JOANN Hacks:

  • To obtain desired shape and size of birch frame, lay it out on top of another frame that's the approximate size you would like.
  • Bend the birch twigs to form corners for the frame.
