Flourishes Thank You Card

DIRECTIONS:

1. Trim a piece of white cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Fold in half to create card base.
2. Use a blending brush to blend a gradient of color on the entire background. Pool Party and Berry Smoothie inks were used for one card, Fruit Punch and Lemon Drop inks were used for the other. You can even try overlapping your colors when ink blending to create new colors, like the example cards for this project.
3. Place stencil over the inked background and ink-blend over the top of the stencil using the same ink colors. This will create subtle tone-on-tone background.
4. Trim a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 2 3/4". Stamp thank you message with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on embossing powder and heat emboss with heat tool.
5. Ink the edges of this panel with Clear Embossing & Watermark ink and heat emboss. This will create a thin embossed border to match your sentiment.
6. Adhere the message panel to the card base with foam adhesive.

JOANN HACKS:

• Use a temporary spray adhesive on the stencil to keep it secure while ink-blending.
