SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 12"x 18" Foam sheets
  • Foam stars
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Take the foam sheet and run a bead of hot glue on the short end. Glue the short ends together, creating a cylinder.
  2. Cut pieces of ribbon about 12" long and glue them around the inside of the bottom of the cylinder.
  3. Decorate as desired.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks like great fun! I’m planning to do this with the grandgirls for Father’s Day using red/white/blue theme for decorations to last into July. Yay! I think it will be easier to glue ribbon streamers and decorations to the foam sheet before flying the sheet into a cylinder. What did you use to hang it? Any suggestion on length for that string, cord, whatever? And how many attachments to the cylinder—2? 4?
