Foiled Fall Leaf Layout

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• EK 2-way glue pen
• Gold glitter
• Copper glitter

• Tape runner
• Dimensional foam adhesive dots
• Electronic die cutting machine
• Sewing machine and white thread (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Trim strips in varying widths from a variety of papers in the stack. Distress edges of the strips if desired. Adhere centers of the strips to a 12"x 12" woodgrain paper to create the layout base. If desired, add sewing machine stitches along each strip. Lift the long edges of each strip as desired to create dimension.
2. Use an electronic die cutting machine and the Foil Quill Medium Tip to foil and cut leaves from a variety of pattern papers. Follow the instructions included with the Foil Quill and use the correct adapter for your machine.
3. Use the embossing folder and Revolution Embossing Machine to add texture to some of the cut and foiled leaves.
4. Trim sentiment/title from stack cut-apart paper. Use a glue pen to add glitter to the title block and to some of the cut and foiled leaves. Use the Glitter Mini Vac for quick clean up.
5. Cluster photo (stitched around outside edge if desired), title, and foiled/glittered leaves onto layout base. Use dimensional foam dots to create layers and dimension.

JOANN HACKS:

• This stack includes a cut apart border paper which was perfect for cutting into the layered strips used on this layout. Use the borders only or combine with strips cut from other pattern papers in the stack.
