SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Cut the solid teal card stock 12" long by 4" wide. Fold in along the 12" side at the 5" and 10" so there are 3 panels, two that are 5" and a tab on the end that is 2". This will create the base of the card, the front and back flap and the small bottom flap to hold the top closed.
  2. Cut a piece from the stripe paper 2" x 4" and glue on to the front of the 2" flap on the teal paper.
  3. Create various size pompoms by wrapping around your fingers. The size of the pom is determined by how many fingers you wrap the yarn around. Gather the loops off a finger and press together in the center. Tie a knot in the center a with a scrap piece of yarn. Clip the loops and trim the pompom to shape.
  4. Write out Happy Mother’s Day or a special message on the front flap.
  5. Stitch along the top flap with an embroidery needle and yarn as an embellishment.
  6. Hot glue the pompoms to the front flap above where they meet the bottom flap. Embellish with stickers and use a sticker to seal the card shut after writing a message inside.
