Versatile and handy- awesome with acrylic paint!
Awesome with acrylic paint! I used with acrylic paint to make my own outdoor fern pillow. I bought some cheap craft acrylic and mixed this with it (2:1- medium:paint). I hand painted and embroidered the fern on an outdoor pillowcase. I am happy with results so far. It seems tough, but flexible. Didn’t take too long to dry either. The viscous nature added to a watercolor effect which I could have made more use of. A little goes a long way, so happy with the value.

Made fabric stiff and scratchy
I mixed it with paint according to directions and painted lace but fabric came out stiff, scratchy and unwearable. So disappointing.

table toppers
The Folk Art textile medium is very good. I have used it for a long time. I like to paint on fabric, then I can add some embroidery to finish it. I like to make table toppers.
