  • Cricut Joy machine
  • Computer
  • Assorted cardstock paper
  • Cricut Joy card mat
  • Ruler
  • Cricut portable trimmer
  • Cricut scoring pen
  • Card image svg file

  • To download the SVG files, to load directly into Cricut Design Space click on the links below.

    1. Upload image svg file in design space or create your own
    2. Size image at 4.25"x 5.2"
    3. Contour your image base, (the outline of the image)
    4. Pre-cut cardstock 5.5"x 8.5" and manually score in center vertically down against a ruler
    5. Fold cardstock in half like a card
    6. Insert card into the Joy card Mat
    7. Cut with the Joy
    8. Cut cardstock inserts sizing them 4"x 5"

    JOANN HACKS:

    • Make sure you select correct card mat size before cutting

    • Contour the outline of your image so only parts of the image are cut and not the entire outline, see image below
