FUR RUG
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 54"x desired length of faux fur
- Tube of permanent fabric glue
- Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut the faux fur to the desired length.
- Turn the fabric over and fold the edge to the backside. Place a thin line of glue on the edge of the fabric and firmly press to the backside. Hold it firmly for a few minutes to get it to stick. Do this all the way around the border of the rug.
JOANN Hacks:
- While holding the edge of the rug, bend it backwards to trim the underlying edge of fur to make the finished edge feel more natural.
PILLOWS
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 2 foam pillows 18" square
- Champagne textured crushed velvet 40"x 40"
- Spool of matching thread
- Sewing machine
- Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut the fabric to be 2" bigger than the foam pillows.
- With right sides together sew a seam of 1/4" around three sides of the two squares of fabric.
- Turn the fabric right side out and topstitch 1/8" around on three sides, leaving one side open.
- Insert pillow and fold in fabric to make the seam close.
- Pin the seam together and topstitch that side closed.

- Make sure you align the edges when you pin it together.
