  1. Cut stocking pattern reversed, two from cotton (lining), and two from fur (fur pointing toward bottom of stocking). Cut one cotton 2"x 8" for hanger. Fold both long edges to center. Press. Fold in half. Press. Sew close to both folded edges. Fold in half. Place looped end of hanger pointing toward center of back fur panel. Lay cut ends of hanger extending 1" past the top edge of stocking. Side of hanger 3/4" in from side of stocking (side opposite from toe). Settle fur to point down under hanger. Baste in place 1/8" from top edge of stocking.
  2. Place front fur and one lining cotton RST. Match top corners. Sew 1/4" SA top edge only. Repeat. Fold panels WST. Pin lining to fur matching edges. Brush fur toward center of stocking as pinning. Baste together 1/8" from edge. Repeat. Place fur panels RSU. Brush all fur away from edges, towards the center of the stocking. Carefully flip the back fur panel on top of the front fur panel RST. Match top corners and sides edges. Sew 1/4" SA leaving top open. Clip curves. Zig zag stitch edges. Turn stocking RSO. Topstitch 3/4" from top edge of stocking. Brush hairs of fur to point down, perpendicular from top edge as stitching.
  3. Make pom poms. Tie overhand knots at both ends of 15" cording. Cut two 3" circles from fur. Sew a running stitch around outer edges of fur circle. Pull stitch slightly. Wrap a small amount of Fiber-Fil around one knotted end of cording. Place in center of fur circle. Pull stitching to close fur into a ball. Stitch through cording and fur. Repeat. Hold cording so pom poms fall at different heights. Wrap 1" of folded section of cording into front left top corner of stocking. Hand stitch in place.
