Furniture Tie-Dye Foot Stool

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Tulip Tie-Dye Shibori Kit
• White Fabric
• Scissors
• Glue Gun/Hot Glue Gun Sticks or Staple gun
• Pan/Cookie Sheet or Drying Rack
• Paper Towels
• Piece of Furniture

DIRECTIONS:

1. Pre-wash fabric.
2. Choose desired shades from the Tulip Shibori kit + fill with water (read instructions on the kit).
3. Follow instructions on Shibori folding technique.
4. Place folded or wrapped fabric onto the cookie sheet/drying rack.
5. Add dye on the wrapped fabric.
6. Once the fabric is saturated to your liking, wrap with plastic bags to keep color damp- let sit for 6+ hours.
7. Remove all plastic, do a quick rinse in your washer and dry in the dryer.
8. Cover your desired piece of furniture- start gluing the fabric down and pleat the fabric for a pattern.
9. Wrap the fabric to the bottom and pull the fabric taught as you tack down.
10. Let dry.
