I honestly dont know if this role was defective or badly cut but the strips were fraying horribly. While this was hidden in the seams it did make working with them not fun.

Placemats with “Pizazz”
I’m making ‘Pretty & Fun’ placemats for 14 friends about all the things I know about them. Their favorite foods, colors, pets, flowers, seasons and on & on. After gathering all these fabrics to make the ’fun’ side of the mat, I needed a stand out and pizazz bordering. This is where the perfect jelly roll comes to life. Here are the three I’ve made up for the back side of the mat, or the ‘fun side’! These strips gave it just the zing it needed! The pretty side is next and the jelly rolls will be a big part of the process.
