Comfortable grip
I got these for Christmas. Before I started using these scissors I was using a cheap scissor that I’d had for a few years. These one have gotten twice as much usage and are still super sharp. They’ve cut through 4 layers of anti pill fleece no problem.

Functional with form
I purchased this item due to need. I have been making furoshiki cloth and my cheaper shears were not cutting it...in fact they were making horrible streaks in the fabric!

I have used these for *years* without having to sharpen - the trick is to never let *anyone* use them for anything other than fabric. I even bought a second pair so that I could sharpen the first ones when they needed it, they never have. Love them!

I have bought 3 of these so far not because they wear out, but because I want to make sure I have a pair everyplace I need them. In the sewing room, the sewing box and in my travel bag for sewing! These will last you forever. If you can only buy one good pair of scissors these would be the ones!

Buying a second pair
These are excellent shears, I wish I'd have bought them years ago, instead of struggling with inferior ones. I'm buying a second pair, because Gingher (still!) offers sharpening and tuning service, but it takes 2-3 weeks to get them back. But they do a much better job sharpening and adjusting, they come back like new. LOVE them!
