    DIRECTIONS:

    SILVER GLITTER ANIMAL PRINT TUMBLER

    1. Clean the plain tumbler with rubbing alcohol using a paper towel. Let it dry. Apply the animal print to the top 2" part of the tumbler. Press the stickers firmly to the tumbler. Apply Mod Podge to the next 1" layer down and while holding the tumbler over a clean piece of plain paper, sprinkle the silver glitter on top of the glue. Do this completely around the tumbler until you have a nice solid layer of silver glitter. Lightly tap the tumbler to the table on top of the white piece of paper to knock off any excess glitter that did not stick. Let it dry.
    2. Repeat this applying step for each another layer you want on the tumbler. Let it dry between each layer.
    3. After you have applied all layers, in a well-ventilated space apply a coat of clear spray to fix everything to the tumbler. Let it dry about 20 minutes.
    4. Place the tumbler onto the tumbler turner and make sure it is level. Apply a thin layer of resin onto the tumbler. Let it spin for 8-12 hours. Sand off any bumps with the fine grit sandpaper. Apply another thin layer of resin and let it spin for 8-12 hours. Remove it from the tumbler turner and trim off any excess resin around the top of the tumbler with your x-acto knife.

    MONOGRAMMED PEARLESCENT PINK GLITTER TUMBLER

    1. Clean the plain clear tumbler well. Let it dry. Tape off the top 1/3 and bottom 1/3 of the tumbler and the bottom of the tumbler with the painter's tape. Use the mod podge and paint the glue on the side of the tumbler. Apply the glitter on the side of the tumbler with the white glitter at the top and then going down to pink glitter at the bottom. Place the tumbler onto the tumbler turner and make sure it is level. Apply a thin layer of resin onto the tumbler. Let it spin for 8-12 hours. Sand off any bumps with the fine grit sandpaper with the painter's tape still on the tumbler.
    2. Make sure the tumbler is smooth. Remove the painter's tape. Apply glue in small dots in small amounts below the glittered area and attach the Spin it Gems. Do this all the way around the tumbler. Let it dry. Place electrical tape just below the attached pearls all the way around the tumbler. Attach the Washi tape at the top and bottom of the resin area. Place the electrical tape just above the applied Washi tape. Place new painter's tape to cover the rest of the clear tumbler past the electrical tape except the previous resin area. Place the tumbler back on the tumbler and repeat the first phase of applying the layers. Make sure you let it dry before attempting to remove the tape. Remove the tape before it becomes completely hard.

    PAPER GLITTER TUMBLER

    1. Clean the pink plain tumbler with rubbing alcohol using a paper towel. Let it dry. Apply Mod Podge to the bottom third of the tumbler and while holding the tumbler over a clean piece of plain paper, sprinkle the pink and white glitter on top of the glue. Do this completely around the tumbler until you have a nice solid layer of glitter. Lightly tap the tumbler to the table on top of the white piece of paper to knock off any excess glitter that did not stick. Let it dry.
    2. Using the compass cut a 3" wide piece on a white piece of paper for a trail run. You will have to cut this out on an arch like making a tree skirt because the tumbler angles in towards the bottom. Once you have a pattern, then trace it onto the cardstock and cut it out.
    3. Apply Mod Podge to the middle section of the tumbler and glue the paper cardstock wrapping around the tumbler. Let it dry. Apply a layer of Mod Podge on top of the paper cardstock and let it dry.

LARGE WAVY PINK & WHITE GLITTER TUMBLER

    1. Apply Mod Podge near the top of the tumbler. Using the foam brush paint a random wave around the top of the tumbler about 1" down. Apply the white fine glitter on top of the glue. Do this completely around the tumbler until you have a nice solid layer of silver glitter. Lightly tap the tumbler to the table on top of the white piece of paper to knock off any excess glitter that did not stick. Let it dry. Repeat this applying step for each another layer you want on the tumbler. Let it dry between each layer. When you apply the gold crushed stones, you will need to use more Mod podge than normal to firmly attach it to the tumbler.
    2. After you have applied all the layers, in a well-ventilated space apply a coat of clear spray to fix everything to the tumbler. Let it dry about 20 minutes. Take the painter's tape and go around the top and inside of the tumbler so that the resin does not over run into the tumbler.

    JOANN HACKS:

    • When applying the glue to the tumbler(s), do it as an up-and-down wave to appear more natural.
    • Use the heat gun to remove any air bubbles as it is spinning on the tumbler(s). Be careful not to get too close to the resin with the heat gun as you don't want to cook it.
    • Make sure the tumbler(s) and tumbler turner are level while spinning. Check on it a couple of times while in the spinning and drying process.
    • You may need to use the x-acto knife to score along the resin and the tape line(s) so that when you remove the tape, you don't pull off some of the resin area.
