DIRECTIONS:
- Download the pattern by clicking "download PDF" below Print Description.
- Cut pattern pieces from your fabric.
- To make ties: Cut four strips of fabric 1 1/2"x 18". Fold fabric in half lengthwise and press. Open up and bring both edges to the center fold line and press. Fold in half to make ties. Stitch close to edge to finish ties.
- Match outer mask pieces right sides together and sew the outer curve. Repeat with lining pieces.
- Open both mask halves and press both seam allowances to the right.
- Topstitch down the center seam allowance, about 1/4" from the seam.
- Lay one half of the mask down with the right side facing up. Pin ends of ties in each corner. Once ties are pinned in place, bundle the tie ends together in the center of the mask.
- Match front and back pieces right sides together, matching center front seams at the top and bottom.
- Pin and sew around the exterior of the mask, leaving a small opening at the bottom of the mask between the center front seam and corner.
- Clip across corners, and clip curves taking care not to cut through the stitching.
- Turn mask right side out and press.
- Topstitch around the mask 1/4' from the edge, closing the hole at the bottom in the process.
