Glow-in-the-Dark Galaxy Tie-Dye Costume

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • Tulip® Supplies:
    • Kaleidoscope One-Step Tie-Dye Kit®
    • Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint
  • Gildan® Black 100% Cotton T-Shirt
  • Bleach OR Tulip® Reverse Tie-Dye Kit®
  • Spray Bottle
  • Protective Surface Cover
  • Plastic Wrap or Sealable Plastic Bag

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Prewash shirt and lay the damp fabric flat on a protected work surface.
  2. Prepare tie-dye solutions according to package instructions.
  3. Pour bleach or Tulip Color Changer into a spray bottle.
  4. Apply bleach or Color Changer onto fabric as desired.
  5. When you are satisfied with the amount of color that has been removed, rinse the shirt with cool water and wash with a small amount of detergent.
  6. Return project to work area and apply dyes to bleached fabric.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap or place project into a sealable plastic bag.
  8. Allow the dyes to set for 6-8 hours or overnight.
  9. Rinse and launder according to package instructions.
  10. Use Glow-in-the-Dark Puff Paint to embellish your shirt with cosmic designs.
  11. Lay flat to dry for 4 hours.
  12. Fabric can be washed after 72 hours.
