SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Tulip Glow Dimensional Fabric Paint
  • Rocks
  • White acrylic paint
  • Aleene's Tacky Glue
  • Disposable cups
  • Cooling rack

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cover rocks with white acrylic paint and allow to dry.
  2. In a cup, combine Tulip Glow Dimensional Fabric Paint with Aleene's Tacky Glue at a 2:1 ratio.
  3. Add a small amount of water if the mixture is too thick.
  4. Repeat with as many colors as you like. In a single cup, combine the desired colors one at a time.
  5. Prepare a cooling rack and place the dried white rocks on top. Add a piece of watercolor paper below the rack to catch the paint drippings.
  6. Pour the paint on top of the rock, adding multiple layers if desired.
  7. Dry for 24 hours.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:

  • Use a black light to activate the glow-in-the-dark ability of the paint, or place the rocks outside in the sun for an extended period of time. When you bring them into a dark space they will glow.
