    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless - Doesn’t stick to machine!! I bought one of these many years ago @ another fabric store. I wanted to stick it to the side of my Janome Memory Craft 3000 so my little nippers would always be handy for trimming threads when I was done stitching a seam. The magnet is quite strong & does keep the nippers in place. However, the suction cup just pops right off, making it useless! I’ve tried putting it in various positions on the machine w/ no luck, it always pops right off.

It is only about 1-3/8" in diameter, a fact that should be included in the description as you can't tell from the picture. It seems it will hold a pair of scissors, but in my experience the suction cup probably won't last. We'll see.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! This pin holder really is a great addition to my quilt room, but truthfully, I don't ask a lot of this little magnetic pin holder and you shouldn't either. I know it says it can hold scissors, but it won't hold anything larger than those tiny snip scissors. But really, this is best used to hold a few pins or in my case, my cheater needle when I'm quilting and burying threads. (I don't do the teeny tiny beginner or ending stitches nor do I reverse to lock threads. Too bulky, unattractive and messy.) Burying those thread ends is a much neater alternative that works great! And this is just the tool to keep my cheater needle handy and also keeps the cheater needle from getting mixed up with the other pins and needles on my full sized magnetic pin holder. So think about how you want to use this little cutie and don't expect too much of it, because what it does, (holding small, light-weight pins, needles and scissors) it does very, very well!

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from not great This product does not stick well unless you use the clear adhesive circle (you stick this to your machine, and the product to that) that is included.  Even then, you cannot use the product to hold heavier items like scissors or it will fall off your machine.  I had trouble with small/medium size scissors.  Using it for pins alone would probably be fine.
