  1. Using the template, cut out 10 envelopes.
  2. Fold and glue the envelopes, leaving one flap open.
  3. Glue envelopes overlapped so pockets are all facing the same way.
  4. Accordion fold to create a book.
  5. To make the graduation cap, cut a square of cardstock smaller than the size of your envelopes.Cut a strip of paper 1/2" wide and 2" long.
  6. Glue strip, end to end, into a ring and glue to the front of the book.
  7. Glue the smaller square onto the ring. Make a small tassel from the floss.
  8. Add a small button and tassel to the square to finish the cap.
  9. Cut small rectangles to fit on each envelope.
  10. Add personalized notes to hinting at the envelope's contents.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No explanation Such a good idea for graduation but how do you make a accordion style if you glue corner like a envelope first ?? Tired to see great idea projects with limited explanations. Cannot read minds

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not through enough instructions How do you glue the “graduation hat” to the accordion book? Is the “hat” on top of an envelope? Not exactly clear on these instructions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How about the visual learners? This lost a star because of the presentation. The photos, which were good, needed to show the project from more angles. I *think* I see how they're glued together by the little bit of the back showing. Many people who do this sort of thing, me included, are visual learners and the instructions in words only are hard to follow.
