- 1/3yd each of 3 various fabrics
- 1/2yd of 1 fabric
- 3yds fabric for backing
- 1/2yd fabric for binding
- 54"x 54" batting
- Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
- Basic sewing supplies
- Iron and pressing surface
- Sewing machine
DIRECTIONS:
48"x 48" quiltRead all instructions before cutting and sewing. Use accurate 1/4" seams throughout.
Press fabric and label as follows: 1/4yd pieces as A, C, F, G, and I; 1/3yd pieces as B, D, and H; 1/2yd piece as E.
All strips are cut at 3 1/2" x WOF. Some strips may require piecing for length.
From A cut 2 strips. Subcut (1) - 6 1/2", (1) - 33 1/2", (1) - 36 1/2"
From B cut 3 strips. Subcut (1) - 6 1/2", (1) - 27 1/2", (2) - 36 1/2"
For C cut 2 strips. Subcut (1) - 6 1/2", (1) - 12 1/2", (1) - 18 1/2", (1) - 27 1/2"
For D cut 3 strips. Subcut (1) - 9 1/2", (1) - 24 1/2", (1) - 42 1/2", (1) - 48 1/2"
For E cut 4 strips. Subcut (1) - 9 1/2", (1) - 12 1/2", (1) - 24 1/2", (2) - 45 1/2"
For F cut 2 strips. Subcut (1) - 12 1/2", (1) - 21 1/2", (1) - 30 1/2"
For G cut 2 strips. Subcut (1) - 18 1/2", (1) - 21 1/2"
For H cut 3 strips. Subcut (1) - 18 1/2", (1) 30 1/2", (1) 39 1/2"
For I cut 2 strips. Subcut (1) - 33 1/2", (1) - 45 1/2"
Follow Chart and Layout for piece placement. Press and trim as you sew.
Sandwich backing, batting and quilt top. Quilt as desired.
Trim and bind quilt.
