Skull Shaped Pillow:
NOTE: Sew 1/2" seam allowance.
Cut two skull patterns from white fleece and fusible interfacing.
Cut two eyes from black fleece.
Cut one nose from black fleece.
Fuse interfacing to front and back skull.
Pin eyes and nose to front of skull and zigzag stitch around outside of each.
Stitch or cut strips from fleece to sew to front for mouth.
Stitch lines on sides of face randomly to resemble stitch lines.
With right sides together, stitch front to back using a 1/2" seam. Leaving bottom open for stuffing.
Turn.
Using black yarn or embroidery floss, sew a blanket stitch around outside of skull leaving bottom open.
Stuff skull and sew opening closed.
Add blanket stitches to bottom.
Moon and Stars Pillow:
NOTE: Sew 1/2" seam allowance.
Cut one moon pattern from orange fleece.
Cut three stars from white fleece.
Cut two 19" circles.
Cut two 19" circles from fusible fleece interfacing.
Fuse interfacing to front and back circles.
Pin Moon and Stars to front of pillow and zigzag stitch around each.
Top stitch around moon in contrasting color.
With right sides together, stitch front to back using a 1/2" seam. Leaving bottom open for stuffing.
Turn.
Stuff and stitch opening closed.
Crystal Ball Pillow:
NOTE: Sew 1/2" seam allowance.
Cut two 19" circles for crystal ball from white fleece.
Cut two 19" circles from fusible fleece interfacing.
Cut one Top eyelid, bottom eyelid, and eyeball following pattern from black fleece.
Cut two pieces from black fleece for stand of crystal ball.
Fuse interfacing to front and back circles.
Pin top and bottom eyelid in center of circle. Zigzag in place.
Center eyeball in eye and zigzag in place.
Cut 1 strip from black fleece 3/4" x 15".
Cut slits about 1/4" apart into one long side stopping just before cutting all the way through to form eyelashes for top.
Place strip along top edge of eyes lid and zigzag in place cutting off any extra length.
Cut 1 strip 1/2" x 15" and cut slits for bottom, stitching in place along bottom eyelash and cutting off any extra length.
Pin the bottom stand to front of crystal ball overlapping the bottom. Having the stand about 1/2" over the bottom of fleece. Stitch across black base at top. Repeat for back, making sure it is in the same placement as front.
With right sides together, stitch front to back using a 1/2" seam. Stitch around ball and around bottom base leaving an opening for turning.
