- Ingredients:
- Favorite chocolate cake mix or recipe
- Candy® Melts bright white
- 4lb tub white creamy decorator icing
- Rose icing_x000B_Violet icing_x000B_Royal blue icing_x000B_Kelly green icing_x000B_Black icing_x000B_Sparkling white sugars
- Supplies:
- Muffin pan_x000B_Cooling grid
- All-in-one decorating bags with tip 2A_x000B_Decorating tip 3_x000B_Disposable decorating bags
- 9" angled spatula_x000B_White cupcake liners_x000B_10x 14" cake board
- Waxed paper
- Tape
DIRECTIONS:
- Make ghosts. Melt Candy Melts candy according to directions on the package. Prepare cake board with waxed paper and tape. Using spatula, swipe melted white candy left or right, about 2" long. Chill until set, about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Bake cupcakes. Using your favorite recipe or mix, bake and cool chocolate cupcakes in white liners.
- Tint icing. Tint 1/4 cup white icing black using black icing color. Tint 1 cup white icing light royal blue using royal blue icing color. Tint 1 cup each light magenta, light lavender, and light seafoam using color combinations above.
- Prepare decorating bags. Prepare 4 decorating bags with attached 2A tips separately with light magenta, light lavender, light seafoam and light blue icing. Prepare one decorating bag with tip 3 and black icing.
- Decorate candy ghosts. Using bag with tip 3 and black icing, pipe dot eyes on each ghost.
- Decorate cupcakes. Using bags prepared with tinted icing and 2A tips, pipe a swirl on each cupcake. Sprinkle immediately with sparkling sugars. Carefully position one ghost on each cupcake.
