Halloween Paper Luminaries

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 11" x 17" Cardstock, in Various Colors For Halloween
  • ZIG Memory System 2-Way Glue Stick
  • Cricut® Machine
  • Green Mat
  • Battery Operate Tea Light

DIRECTIONS:


  • To download the SVG files, click on the links below, then right click on the image to save as an SVG to your device.
  • Halloween Paper Luminaries SVG Click Here
    1. Download the Halloween Paper Luminaries svg file and upload it to Design Space.
    2. Convert dashed lines to be scoring lines, or score along these areas by hand once cut.
    3. For each size, 1 large piece folds into the luminary, the other acts as a liner to make the design easier to see.
    4. Add Halloween and fall icons as desired, use the splice feature in design space to cut them from the surface of the main luminary.
    5. Cut out each pattern out of cardstock using your Cricut machine
    6. Fold all the pieces on the scored lines so they will easily hold together when glued. Hold them together for a few minutes. Then glue the last side to the back.
    7. Fold the bottom flaps inward and glue to make the boxes secure.

    JOANN HACKS:

    • When gluing the pieces together, make sure you place a line of glue close to the edge of the seam to get a clean edge when they fold.
