SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 Cup of Unsalted Butter, Melted
- 1 1/4 Cup of Light Brown Sugar, Lightly Packed
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs Plus 1 Egg Yolk, Room Temperature
- 2tsp of Vanilla Extract
- 2 1/4 Cups of All Purpose Flour
- 2tsp of cornstarch
- 1/2tsp Salt
- 1/2tsp Baking Powder
- 2/3 Cup of White Chocolate Chips
- 1 Cup of Chopped Walnuts
- 13"x 9" Pan
- Wilton Halloween Sugar Decorations (pumpkins and candy corn ghosts)
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a 13"x 9" pan with parchment paper.
- Combine melted butter and sugars and mix well.
- Add eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt.
- Gradually stir dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until completely combined.
- Stir in white chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Spread blondie batter into prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Place sugar decorations evenly spaced on blondies as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Slightly press down into the blondie for them to stick.
- Once they are completely cooled, cut into even sized bars.

I tested this recipe 10/26/21--w/o all the candy nor white choc chips(yes to walnuts)--to see if the base had good flavor....flavor was mild--which is ok---but definitely a dryer brownie-rather than moist--would definitively make some adjustments for my family to have (if we weren't use all the candy additives
