SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 Package of Halloween Foam Stamps
  • Bottles of Soft Fabric Paint: Purple, White, Black
  • Styrofoam Plates (1 per color)
  • Flat Medium Paint Brush
  • Paper Towels
  • T-shirt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Lay the T-shirt on a flat working surface. Slide a piece of cardboard into the shirt to prevent the paint from going through the shirt to the backside of the shirt.
  2. Squirt a quarter size amount of paint onto the styrofoam plate.
  3. With your brush apply paint onto the first foam stamp. Make sure it is evenly coated with paint.
  4. Flip the stamp over and press onto the T-shirt, trying not to move it when you place it onto the shirt.
  5. Press evenly onto the back of the stamp. Lift the stamp straight up off of the shirt.
  6. Repeat this process every time you are stamping an image onto the shirt.
  7. Stamp randomly all over the shirt with just the first stamp.
  8. Rinse out your foam stamp and let it dry.
  9. Get another stamp and a new styrofoam plate to use for the next color.
  10. Repeat the stamping process until you have completely covered the shirt.

JOANN HACKS:

  • If your stamping becomes too thick, then take a break and wash the foam stamp to have clean edges again. Make sure you dry it off on paper towels before using it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Joanns doesn’t have all the items Can’t find the stamps in store or on the Joanns website. This would be a great idea except for that
