Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since we have stay at home orders I have really put my processor to great use. I had odd and ends of different breads . I was amazed at how easy it was to make bread crumbs. I also used it to chop peppers and onions to freeze. I am so pleased at how easy it is to use and the end results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Food Processor! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this food processor! I never had one before because they looked complicated. This one I used to make slaw, slice pepper and carrots with ease. You just snap it together. ( no lining up notches and twisting ) just pop in blade, snap on lid, and fill the safety chute. ( won't operate unless you have lid on) Buy one for yourself or that special someone as a gift. Easy clean up and dishwasher safe

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient, Easy to Use, Reasonably Priced [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Food Processor Model # 70723, Series B2891CE. I mention this because there are similar looking but different models of this machine, some of which have conflicting recommendations and cautions from users, which I will address first. One common note is that one is not supposed to process meat in this machine. However, the user manual (p. 8) lists that foods that can be chopped, a list that includes meats. More significantly, there are reviews that claim openings or rivets in the chopping blades are patent, i.e., foods/fluids are able to enter the housing that supports the chopping blades. I find no such openings or faulty rivets in the blade that accompanied my machine. The opposing blades are separated by a solid plastic ring with the rivets passing through the upper blade, plastic ring, and lower blade; there are no holes or channels through which foods can enter and become trapped - and putrefy. Yet reviews boldly proclaim the unit to be a health hazard, claims that are not supported by the design of the blade. Finally, some complain that foods are unevenly chopped. I followed the recommended amounts to be processed as listed in the user manual (p. 8) and did not experience uneven processing. Since I received this machine two weeks ago, I have had the opportunity to process a variety of foods including soft cheese (I cube processed cheeses and put them in the freezer for 20-30 minutes), chilled hard cheeses (e.g. Swiss, Parmesan); veggies - sliced and grated (the machine uses one blade for both: slice one side, turn the blade over for grating - eliminating a bulky pair of dedicated blades). I have used the chopping blade: to shred/chop meats for hash, burgers, meat sauces; to puree tomatoes for marinara; to chop onions and peppers; to make fresh and dried breadcrumbs; and to make potato salad and coleslaw dressing. So far, everything I have processed has achieved my desired outcome. Clean up is simple: top shelf dishwasher BUT NO SANI WASH, whose 155+ F-degree temps could deform/crack the plastic pieces. To be on the safe side, I hand wash most plastic/food storage containers. Finally, the unit appears to be well made, easy to assemble and use, has ample built in safety features, and is exceptionally light, compared to the well-known processor that I am replacing and at a fraction of the cost. The height (fully assembled) is 15.75 inches. One other thing: it is nice looking (so says my feminine side). Based on my usage to date, I highly recommend this processor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive, high quality, convenient processor! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even before I used this exceptional processor, I was delighted with the look, feel and durability of the product. And, not only is it sturdy and, certainly, built to last, it looks great! It is probably never going to leave my countertop, and I have reserved a permanent space for it. The features are perfect and easy to use; I really like the simplicity and elegance of its use. And, while I know this is a fractional component, I loved the cord storage; it's always painful seeing/moving cords, at least from my perspective. This one stores nicely. I could not ask for more in a processor; it has everything I need. The only feature I would redesign, are the finger holes in the disc; it was a bit awkward for me to remove. Other than that, it's perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stack and snap awesome [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying this food processor a few times , I have been very satisfied with the stack and snap technology. Making putting it together so much easier. The wider chute allowing for less pre-cutting is exactly what a food processor should have, since we are using one for convenience and getting things done faster than by hand. Would buy or recommend this food processor to family, friends or even a stranger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful discover [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is, without a doubt, the easiest to use Food Processor that I've ever encountered. Where other units require the pieces to be carefully locked into place. In this one, you stack them, the only way they will go, and the entire unit is locked down via a pair of locks on the lid. The unit was amazingly well packaged, with not one, but three warnings that the blades contained within were sharp. I laughed and started unpacking everything. Each piece of the unit wrapped in a plastic bag and the blades also encased in cardboard. I washed everything carefully and started the assembly for my first test. Did I mention that the blades were reported to be sharp? I can testify to that. When reaching into the drainer for the main chopping blade, I sliced my thumb open. Much dramatics later (along with some colorful language), I rewashed the blades and CAREFULLY assembled chopping blade with my newly bandaged thumb, I was ready for my first test. I was making a pot of chili, so I cut an onion into quarters, put it in the basket, put on the lid and fastened the locks, and pushed the pulse to chop button. Four seconds later the onion was finely chopped. I've also used the slicing blade on carrots and radishes for salads. So far, that's the extent of my experimentation The unit sits on suction cups that fasten it to the countertop quite effectively. Cleaning after use is simple (paying special attention to the blades, which, as it may have been mentioned, are very sharp. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a dream! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this food processor in exchange for my review. This is a well built, heavy duty machine that shreds and slices carrots without a problem. I made a stir-fry with shrimp, carrots, bell peppers, and mushrooms. The prep took less time than it took for me to set it up. Clean up was a breeze (watch out for that blade!). I will never go back to a knife again. Fall soups will not be a problem any more. If you have an older cook in your family, this would make a great Christmas gift. It works like a dream!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ease of Use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Food Processor a week ago. Made the spicy salsa recipe from the Hamilton Beach website. Food Processor was very easy to use, directions were clear and precise and clean-up was a cinch using the dishwasher top rack. Website is easy to navigate and filter by appliance. Would make a minor change to the bowl and add a spout for easy pouring. Reduced the chopping appliances I currently own. Wonderful product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommend this food processor! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this food processor for about a month and absolutely love it! It’s very easy to use and I really like that it is so compact but still has a 10 cup bowl. Storage is so much easier than the older one of a different brand that I had before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made a batch of Home Made Salsa and it tastes so much better than the ready made stuff. This replaced the one we had that was smaller and and very old. Not to mention that it is black and fits in with all the rest of our kitchen appliances. Thank You for giving me the oppertunity to try this products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but powerful [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very powerful motor, compact for counter space and storage, easy to use,has a nice large chute for vegetables, I've only made Salsa so far and it worked well, love that bowl sits on base and you don't have to twist and turn to lock. Easy to clean except the space between the blade and cover pieces of food get stuck, just be careful cleaning that area. Overall I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very user friendly! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This processor replaced an older one from C. It was very bulky and extremely heavy even for a 70 yo in good shape. Lifting it out of a cabinet was a major effort. I do a lot of baking so mixing flour with butter causes the mix to cake aroung the bowl requiring taking off the top to move it back down. This was another difficult procedure. This new Hamilton Beach processor I'm happy to say eliminated both of these major hurdles. Not as bulky or as heavy. In fact it fits on the counter with little space required and even in a cabinet it is easy to lift out. Removing the top to scrape the sides isn't a diffucult task either. Top slides off easily. Bottom line: very pleased with this product, works well and has eliminated the major problems as stated I had with a previous maker's product. Far easier to use and no longer wears me out. Recommendation: Purchase iif you want a great functioning processor that is also extremely easy to use!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes short work of meal prep! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to make mini meatballs and it was the fastest prep ever. Onions were chopped so fast there was no time for tears. This food processor is very easy to use and clean. I can't wait to try some other things with it. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the latches on the cover feel a little flimsy. Other than that this is a powerhouse that doesn't take up a lot of space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Versatile Processor [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first food processor I have owned that has multiple features. The one I have been using only chops and grinds and I was surprised at all the processing this Hamilton Beach Stack and Snap can accomplish. I have always been told to not chop onions in a food processor because they will become "mushy" even when using the chop feature and I found this to be true so always chopped onions by hand. Not so with this Stack and Snap processor and the onions chopped very well with just several slightly larger pieces. Obviously you cannot expect to slice an onion in this processor because of the multiple layers in an onlion but I did try and got about 1 inch strips of onion which could still be used in a recipe. The slicer blade is a nice feature with this processor. Potatoes, cucumber, zucchini and yellow squash and potatoes all sliced the same thickness although some slices were round and others were oval shaped depending on the vegetable. A bell pepper sliced fairly well but due to the sections of a pepper some slices were irregular and longer than the rest but not a deal breaker for me. I tried slicing carrots but they came out in chunks which is understandable because they are so hard. The shredder blade worked very well on the carrots, potatoes zucchini and block cheese however; make sure the cheese is cold. I only tried shredding cold cheese but I am confident room temperature cheese would not shred very well. When using the shredder/slicing blade I always had a few somewhat larger pieces left on the blade that didn't shred or slice but I also had larger pieces when shredding by hand and the vegetable I was shredding was at the tips of my fingers. On a rare occasion a small particle of food may get caught in the chamber that houses the spring and it is sometimes difficult to rinse it out of the chamber. The round and oval slices and small chunks of food on top of the slicer/shredding blade and an occasional piece of food in the spring chamber are not enough of a concern for me to give this product a rating lower than 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy To Use! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the food processor a few weeks ago. Up to now I have never used a food processor because they seemed difficult to put together and use. I will definitely be using this a lot! It was very intuitive to put together and there is no locking it in. You just stack them together and it’s ready. I love that there are two sizes of chutes to put in different sizes of food. The only downside is that I had trouble putting the cord into the slot to keep it in between uses. I could never get it put in all the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My salsa used to be hard to make.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My homemade salsa was a really labor intensive, but well liked dish; it never lasted long wherever I took it, and I didn't make it much for home because of all the chopping and mixing. It was the first recipe I tried in our Stack & Snap Food Processor, and it came out perfectly! And, because of the size of the bowl, I think I can make two and a half times as much in less than ten minutes. I also tried chopping the ingredients for my wife's coleslaw. Long ago she started buying the pre-bagged ingredients and adding her own dressing. It was very good, but lasted only two meals. I had the same results with this as I did with the salsa, and more is better; there was enough left to have for lunch twice after two dinners and it's less expensive! I'm looking forward to looking for more recipes to try. This is a very good, easy to use product, and I recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Real Time Saver! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the stack and snap, 10 cup food processor and I love it. I made my vegetable lasagna so quick and easy. The slice blade did a great job of slicing the crook neck squash and zucchini. Then just flip the blade over to shred cheese. It worked better when I put the cheese in the freezer a short time so it was very firm and cold. There was very minimal amount of veggies not being sliced cleanly. Making salsa was just as quick and easy using the other blade. Just make sure you turn the motor on first to finely chop the garlic and jalapeno before you add the rest of the veggies and pulse it till you get the consistency you want. I especially like the fact you just stack the pieces and snap it closed. No trying to line things up and twisting hard to lock. I most definitely recommend it. Very good food processor for the price point.
