SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Felt 9"x 12", Sandstone, 2 sheets
- Felt 9"x 12", Teal
- Felt 9"x 12", Antique White
- Embroidery thread, Pink
- Embroidery thread, White
- Embroidery thread, Tan
- Embroidery thread, Black (Eyes option 1)
- Small black beads (Eyes option 2)
- Scissors
- Embroidery needle
- Polyfil® stuffing
- Hot glue gun
- Pattern templates
DIRECTIONS:
To print the patterns, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).- Cut two Llama Body pieces from the sandstone felt.
- With the black thread, stitch the eyes onto the Llama Face piece using a French knot, or sew a black bead securely in place for the eyes.
- With the pink thread, create two small decorative stitches under each eye.
- Cut out the Llama Mouth piece from the antique white felt.
- Stitch the mouth onto the Llama Mouth piece.
- Stitch the Llama Mouth piece in place on the top Llama Body piece using a back stitch.
- With the white thread, stitch the decorative stitches on the Llama's belly.
- Cut out the Llama Saddle from the teal felt. Sew the felt in place on the top Llama Body piece.
- Place the top and bottom Llama Body pieces together and sew around the edge with a blanket stitch, leaving a small hole for stuffing.
- Stuff the Llama.
- Sew the stuffing hole shut and tie off the thread.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- For younger children, pattern pieces can be hot glued in place, rather than sewn.

Loved this llama!
I made this one afternoon for my 4 year old who is a fan of llamas. She absolutely loves it! It was quick, easy and fun to make. We ended up adding a little pompom tail afterwards (not shown in photo) which made it even better. Highly recommend. Thanks for a great pattern!
