- Hand sew the beak onto the face piece using a back stitch.
- With the black thread, stitch two eyes onto the face using a French knot, or sew two black beads securely in place for the eyes.
- With the pink thread, create two small decorative stitches under the eyes.
- Cut two Owl Body pieces from the ruby felt and one Owl wing from the baby pink felt.
- Add decorative stitching to the wing and top piece of the Owl Body.
- Sew the Owl Face and Owl Wing pieces in place on the top Owl Body piece.
- Place the top and bottom Owl Body pieces together and sew around the edge with a blanket stitch, leaving a small hole for stuffing.
- Stuff the Owl.
- Sew the stuffing hole shut and tie off the thread.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- For younger children, pattern pieces can be hot glued in place, rather than hand sewn.
