SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Felt 9"x 12", Cream, 2 sheets
- Felt 9"x 12", Prickly Purple
- Felt 9"x 12", Baby Pink
- Embroidery thread, Purple
- Scissors
- Embroidery needle
- Polyfil® stuffing
- Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
- Pattern templates
DIRECTIONS:
To print the patterns, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
- Cut two Rainbow pieces from the cream felt.
- Cut the Rainbow Top piece from the prickly purple felt.
- Hot glue the Rainbow Top piece to the top Rainbow cream piece.
- Cut the Rainbow Middle piece from the baby pink felt.
- Hot glue the Rainbow Middle piece to the top Rainbow cream piece, under the Rainbow Top piece.
- Place the top and bottom Rainbow pieces together and sew around the edge with a blanket stitch, leaving a small hole for stuffing.
- Stuff the Rainbow.
- Sew the stuffing hole shut and tie off the thread.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- For older children, pattern pieces can be hand sewn in place, rather than glued.
