SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 3/4 yd of cotton print
  • 1 1/4 yd of 2 cotton prints
  • 1 1/4 yd of white fabric
  • 5/8 yd for binding
  • 4 1/2 yd for backing
  • Twin size batting
  • Basic sewing supplies
  • Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
  • Iron and pressing surface
  • Sewing machine

DIRECTIONS:

    Final dimensions: 70"x 70"
  1. From the cotton prints, cut (49) 10 1/2" squares.
  2. From the white fabric, cut (98) 3 3/4" squares.
  3. Following Diagram A, sew (2) 3 3/4" squares on each 10 1/2" square. To print the diagram, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
  4. Trim corners and press.
  5. Sew blocks together in rows following Diagram B Layout.
  6. Sew rows together as shown in Layout.
  7. Press well.
  8. Sandwich backing, batting and top together and hand quilt or quilt as desired.
