Handstitched Holiday Felt Stockings

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 9"x 12" sheet of felt in green, red, white, blue, and pink
• Embroidery thread in blue, green, white, and pink
• Pompom trim
• Pattern templates
• Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut out pattern pieces in desired color of felt.
2. Position the top, toe, and heel pieces in place on the top stocking piece. Stitch them in place with desired technique. See project photo for inspiration.
3. Add desired decorative stitching to the top stocking piece.
4. Place the two stocking pieces wrong sides together. Fold the tab piece in half to make a small loop, and place it between the two stocking pieces at the top right corner.
5. Stitch around the outer edge of the stocking with a blanket stitch. Be sure to leave the top edge open.
