- Cut four 28"x28" squares of fabric for the main cushion.
- Cut four 19"x19" squares of fabric for the side pillows.
- Cut four 2 1/2"x20" for the ties.
- Take two 28"x28" pieces and put them together with your fabric's right sides facing each other. Then sew along one edge of the fabric and press the seam open. This is your "front" piece.
- Take your other two 28"x28" pieces and put them together with your fabric's right sides facing each other. Then sew along one edge of the fabric and press the seam open. This is your "back" piece.
- Following the image for reference, sew two 19" pieces to the sides of the front piece. Press seam open. Repeat for back piece of cushion.
- FOR TIES:
- With the wrong sides of your fabric together and press the ties in half lengthwise. Then press the sides in the center before folding once more. Press again. Top stitch along the folded edge. Pin the ties to the front piece per the placement shown on the sketch.
- With the right sides of your fabric together, pin the front and back pieces (lining up the seams, top and sides). Sew all edges around the cushion, leaving the top of cushion open. Turn right side out and press.
- Fold and press the front piece's top seam inward to match the width of your velcro. Pin the soft section of your velcro to this folded seam. Repeat this step for the back piece's seam; pressing it inward and pinning the rough side of the velcro to it. Stitch these top edges of the front and back piece to keep the velcro in place.
- Insert the large 27" pillow into seat and add the 18" side pillows. Lastly insert the back pillow. Velcro top closed. Fold side to seat and tie.
