SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Cotton quilt fabric
- 1/2 yd 24-30 different prints
- 1/2 yd white fabric
- Batting
- Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
- Basic sewing supplies
- Iron and pressing surface
- Sewing machine
DIRECTIONS:

Note: ¼" seam allowances throughout.
- Cut a 6 ¾" by 10 ½" rectangle diagonally to give you two triangles 6 ¾" by 10 ½" by 12 ½". This will give you an A and B pattern.
- Cut out 18 each of A and B giving you a total of 36 pieces.
- Assemble as follows using ¼" seam: sew 1 to 2, press seam to side, sew 3 to 4, press seam to side. Repeat for the other side.
- Sew left side to right side making sure that the seams match up. Press seam open. Make 5 more triangle units for a total of six.
- Sew 3 units together pressing seams open. Repeat for the other side.
- Sew two sides together. Press seam open.
- Sandwich together finished top, 4' square of batting and 4' square of backing. Pin or baste stitch starting from middle and working outwards.
- Cut three strips of binding 2 ½" wide. Sew together for a total of approx. 125" length. Fold in half right side out and press. Pin cut edge even with edge of quilt and sew 1/4" seam folding at each corner. Cut off excess batting and backing. Fold folded edge of binding over to back side, pin and hand stitch. Add stitching design if designed.
