DIRECTIONS:
Trees:
- In a well-ventilated area, spray paint artificial trees, using light coats. Tilt the tree while painting to get all angles and sides of the branches. Allow paint to dry between coats.
Birdhouses:
- Base paint the birdhouse with desired colors, add more detail with a small brush and contrasting colors. Add swirls, dots and other designs to add interest.
Garland:
- Paint the small beads a variety of solid colors. Once they are dry, assemble the garland by adding the beads to the jute twine. Add knots between each bead to secure. Wrap the garland around the trees.
Bead Ornaments:
- Base paint the large beads, applying thin coats and allowing them to dry between coats. Add details like flowers, dots, lines and other shapes and design elements with a detail brush. Cut pieces of wire and thread them through the beads, loop one end to keep the bead from falling off the wire and use the other end to loop around the branches of the tree.
Embellishments:
- Paint the decorative unfinished wood embellishments to coordinate with the trees. Add the snowflake as a tree topper, securing in place with wire. Add the ornament shaped embellishment to the middle of the tree.
- Decorate the trees by adding garland then adding ornaments throughout. Arrange the trees and fill around them with birdhouses. Secure birdhouses into the tree with wire.
