SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Assorted Floral Picks
- Wire Cutters
- Floral Wire
- Floral Tape
- Ribbon
- Hot Glue gun/Glue Gun Sticks
- Optional: Medium Size Vase
DIRECTIONS:
- Use wire cutters to trim floral picks into smaller pieces and individual stems. Add floral wire to the ends to make the stems longer if needed.
- In a medium vase, begin adding stems of greenery to create the skeleton of the bouquet.
- Add in 6-8 large focal flowers at the base of the arrangement, making sure to distribute them evenly around the bouquet. Add in other filler flowers to add texture, interest, and height to the bouquet.
- Remove bouquet from vase and hold base of bouquet firmly.
- Wrap floral tape around the base of the bouquet to secure stems together.
- Add small dot of hot glue on the tape and attach ribbon.
- Wrap ribbon around bouquet multiple times until all of the floral tape is hidden. Use hot glue to secure the end of the ribbon.
JOANN HACKS:
- Most people make bouquets in their hand, but using a vase helps to create the perfect placement of each stem, and it prevents stems from getting squished and hidden.
