Rated 4 out of 5 by from Edit for durability I would add a set of stay stitching along the top edge over each of the seam allowances(horizontally). The rest of the (vertical) stiches will not be allowed to unravel. This is how I have been making drawstring bags for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute reusable gift bags Pretty easy to follow instructions, though there were a couple things that would have been easier if a picture was included. I made a bunch of these to give out goodies in, and some bigger ones for gifts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute & simple project!I I really liked this project! I even cut some larger ones to accommodate some larger gifts, they turned out just as well as the smaller ones. Really easy and a simple thing to do.
