Holiday Painted Signs

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Blank Sign
• Pencil
• Water and paper towels for clean-up
• Paint color of choice
• Hot Glue Gun / Glue
• Floral picks
• Bells
• Washi Tape
• Pompom

DIRECTIONS:

1. Lightly layout your text on the sign with a pencil.
2. Using a detail brush, paint the lettering on the sign. This may need several coats for optimal opacity. Let paint dry.
3. Add embellishments such as bells, floral picks, pompoms or washi tape to detail to the frames. For extra interest, paint festive designs on the sign.

JOANN HACKS:

• Use an eraser or damp cloth to remove pencil lines after the paint is completely dry.
