DIRECTIONS:
NOTES:
  1. Cowl is worked in one piece in the round on a circular needle.
  2. Stranded colorwork is worked in St st worked in the rnd and following a chart.
  3. When working from chart, read all rnds from right to left.
  4. When working stranded colorwork, carry the unused color across the wrong side of the Cowl.
  5. To change color, work as follows:
  6. Work to last st of rnd with new color. Knit the last st with the new color, then return that st to the left hand needle and knit it again.
  7. On the following rnd, work to the next to last st. With the right hand needle, lift the st below the next st and place it onto left hand needle. Knit the next 2 sts together.
  8. Cross the old color in front of the new color at the beginning of the new rnd.
COWL:
  1. With smaller needle and A, loosely cast on 72 sts.
  2. Place marker for beginning of rnd and join, being careful not to twist.
  3. Slip marker as you come to it on each rnd.
  4. Rnds 1/4: *K1, p1; rep from * around.
  5. Begin chart
  6. Change to larger needle and to St st worked in the rnd (knit every rnd).
  7. Beginning with Rnd 1, and changing color following Notes, work 4 st rep of chart around.
  8. Continue to follow chart until Rnd 37 has been completed.
  9. Last 4 Rnds: With A, rep Rnds 1/4.
    Bind off in rib.

    FINISHING:
    Weave in ends.
    Designer note
    After you finish your Cowl and have weaved the ends, I recommend you block it. This will give more stitch definition to your work. Soak the Cowl in cold water with a gentle wool wash for about 15 min. With a towel, squeeze the excess moisture and lay flat to dry.
    ABBREVIATIONS:
    k = knit
    p = purl
    rep = repeat
    rnd = round
    st(s) = stitch(es)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Found Chart for Hometown Rodadero Cowl I found the chart when I clicked on Download PDF. However, that is all that I found there. I only saw one page & no written instructions with it. Even the chart is only 4 stitches wide by 33 rows. If anyone also finds FULL written instructions, please post where to find them. Thanks!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Chart is on the page Underneath the button to click for Print Directions, see the words Download PDF --- that is the chart... I do with the chart and the instructions were one file, but at least I can save both to my knitting folder

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Referenced Chart would be nice!?!? How to make this is missing most crucial part - Chart or graph would really make it possible. Without the chart, you can't even try!!!
